Review for Zuri TV Stand By Snowycat This is a very attractive piece furniture and certainly looks like it came from a top of the line store such as Ethan Allen.. The color is a rich, dark brown, almost black and it's very sturdy for being a DIY piece.. I did have a bit of trouble putting it together, the screw holes were off just enough on the backside that I couldn't get them to go in all the way, forcing me to leave about a 1/4 gap where the back part meets the sides.. I'm sure if a guy had been putting it together he would have been able to get them in tight, but being a older gal without the upper body strength of a fella I just couldn't apply the pressure needed.. However, you can't really notice this since the gap is tiny and on the backside so I am still very pleased with how the unit came out and hope to get the matching coffee table soon.. I did find the price of these units a bit high, considering you do have to do some work to put them together and it can require some effort but that would be my only complaint.. They have a classic look and are sturdy to hold a lamp and many stacked books. They were easy enough to assemble. They go well side along to a sofa with high sides, which was what I was looking for in end tables. The little drawer is fine for pens and other small items only. I think most of us my house forget they are even there. I have not used them for anything - presently no need. Regardless, the drawer does compliment the appearence of the end table. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Looks Good and Lasts, but Problems with Assembly By Jason Waldman We've had this piece up next to our front door for a while now, and I have to say that I'm impressed at how well it's held up. It's shown very few scratches and survived our puppy walking over the shelve at the bottom. The color of it also hasn't faded. It still looks very good and blends in well with all of our other furniture. My main complaint was the assembly process. Some of the screw holes did not line up, so I had to drill my own holes in order to complete assembly. The product came with the bottom based board missing and the sccrews. I then asked them to ship it next day since I was leaving out of town for a week and a half and they told me no. Then when I got home I sent them an email with the part they were going to replace and nothing again. Sent them another email and they sent back stating again to send the part and I am still waiting another week and half later. The lid is too large for the teeny hinges that are attached to like, particle board, which cracked after about two months of VERY light use. Sadly, it broke about two days after Amazon's warranty was up, so we couldn't return it. Also, it came with absolutely NO paperwork from the manufacturer so we can't go that route to return it, either. And I can only find one number for "Bobkona" in California and no one ever answers, nor can I leave a message. Frustrating and dissapointing, as I've never had a bad experience with Amazon before. :( We repaired the ottoman with larger hinges, hoping it will stop the "wood" from cracking. I was surprised how good the quality of the wood and finish was for the price. My only beef is that they aren't very sturdy due to the way the legs are designed. They look great with two Tiffany lamps on the side tables. I wouldn't put anything heavier on them though for fear of it tipping over. You can't push on the coffee table to help you get up from the couch either as it will start to tip also. There are spinner feet on the bottoms of all three and they do help to lessen the wobble that they have (I have them on a carpet floor), but they are still not perfectly solidly stable.
