Easy to assemble if you remember that the legs on the flat side are a right and a left and get them in the right place. I didn't have any assembly issues, it took about five minutes to put together. It's perfect for a small space, especially because of the shape, and there were no flaws. And, it's all wood. By Janelle After looking for a year and a half for a coffee table, we finally found exactly what we were looking for. This was very easy to put together, well packaged and fits in our room perfectly. Nice looking, not sure how stable By thefishie I was extremely pleased at how quickly this item arrived given the other review. The dark wood is quite attractive and makes it look much more expensive than it is. The product comes fully assembled which is handy. My only negative is that the base of the tray is much thinner than I expected--really just a piece of plywood surrounded by a thicker frame. Thus, while I don't feel too nervous using it as a breakfast tray or in-bed work station, I'm careful not too carry it around too heavily loaded. Nonetheless, the price was great for a nice-looking, functional piece. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Functional, made cheaply, yet expensive By Health For Life It is perfectly functional and should handle heavy plates, but I wouldn't recommend more than 2 lbs (0.9 kg). Overall, it feels cheap and the wood is very thin. The legs fold underneath the tray, but they had no locking mechanism and so it was not made to be transported or stored in any other orientation as the legs would too easily fall out. I paid $23 + shipping, but I would rate it to be worth $15. I ended up shopping around again and decided to pay more for an Acacia Tray Square from a local home/kitchen store - and it was well worth it even though it's not meant as a raised bed tray. With this on top of the ottoman, the ottoman became our coffee table. And, it's easily removed to turn the ottoman into a foot rest. It's a great addition to the room. Poor Quality Control By Patrick Steele The overall design of this furniture is great -- and when assembled it is sturdy and stable. However, the quality of the finish is very poor. While some pieces, including the lower shelf, have a good finish, the top piece of the table had significant imperfections (ok, really obvious knot holes and flaws) that were poorly patched and stained. Furthermore, the final finish coat on the tabletop was quite poor -- with areas of rough, poorly sanded edges and flat gaps of missed lacquer. The overall size and shape of the piece is great, the stability is fine, but unless you are putting it into a dark hallway with no direct light on it, the poor finish quality may be a real problem for you. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. It was easy to assemble if you've assembled other furniture before (logical, and the instructions have words on them unlike Ikea!). The company (MMP LLC) had great customer service and was fast to respond to a question that I had. The table feels relatively sturdy - the top feels solid, not like particle board. The legs stay on well and don't wobble. I have a small, odd-shaped living room so this table fits well. It's only 30 inches in diameter , so it would be too small for a large room. Just big enough for 3 or 4 people to set their drink and a plate of snacks.z Shipping was FAST and the item was packed well for such a small box. It isn't all solid wood, there is some mdf involved but it went together in under ten minutes, looks fantastic and was an unbeatable price. Scrivens I bought this end table to match the hall table of the same design and after having trouble with the cams (two missing) with the hall table I was hoping for better luck with the end table. The cams worked fine but one of the frosted glass would not fit as it was a bit to long but not much but still couldn't get it into either of the places for it no matter how I turned it. I called the company and they said they would replace it but had to send the forms in which by the time I got the glass back it would be about 3 weeks. I got the idea that just maybe the glass in the hall table might be the same size and maybe by switching them around something would fit. I took one out of the hall table and put it in the end table and it fit perfectly and then took the one from the end table that was a tad to long and put it in the hall table and it went in OK so I solved my own problem by playing musical glass. So it worked for me but if I hadn't had the hall table things would have been different and I would be waiting for three weeks to get a piece that fit. The big issue I have had with these tables is that the bottom shelf doesn't line up so that it is plush with every leg. No one but me would notice, but it is annoying. Attractive Coffee Table By lammy07 This table arrived with some scratches and cracks, but when assembled is sturdy and attractive. The first table I ordered was so badly damaged in shipping that the mail carrier refused to deliver it, and its replacement was pretty banged up as well. The packaging could stand to be more protective considering some of the pieces are thin wood (e.g. drawer bottoms). As for the table itself, this is a very good quality piece for the price. Assembly is reasonable, taking about 1/2 hour to put together. The drawers move smoothly without catching, and all the pieces line up properly. The finish is a more of a deep espresso color than a black. It was such a great coffee table we had to purchase another one. It is extremely sturdy and beautiful. Not cheap at all very study and well made. The price is the best we have seen for something with such good quality. Overall I don't see anything wrong with it, it's well made, very solid wood and craftsmanship, and looks great. We are getting a piece of glass cut to go on the top of it and put pictures of the family on the top in between the table and the glass and have our last name etched in the glass. It is a nice dark black color, when it was in pieces it looked more like an espresso color, but once it is assembled, it is definitely black. It was fairly easy to put together. It arrived pretty quickly as well. I spent a lot of time looking locally and online for a black coffee table that was not cheap looking or made of partical board. This is exactly what I was hoping to find. I would have given it 5 stars for it's looks and quality, but I am giving it 3 for the following reasons... When I received this item, it was severely damaged. I contacted amazon, and they shipped me a second table (at no charge) the following week, which was ALSO very damaged. I literally had to piece together undamaged parts from the two boxes to get a complete table. Our completed table still has damage on one end of the table top, and also the center shelf. But we are keeping it, because I did not want to risk having a third table sent to me, only to have it also arrive damaged. I contacted amazon about the second table, and they have offered a small credit for the damages. The company who manufactures and ships this item, needs to change the way that it is packaged to avoid this problem. Hopefully if you are ordering this table, it will not arrive damaged like mine did. Also, it shows dust, pet hair, and fingerprints like crazy! We have a cat and a gog who both have black fur, and the table is constantly covered with hair. I have to dust it, and wipe down the table top everyday to keep it looking nice. This is a very nice cappuccino / espresso finish sofa table. It has two drawers that each have two pull handles. The pull handles are a silver nickel color. I purchased it to help organize my husband's untidy corner of our bedroom and it fits the bill perfectly. We had no problems putting it together (and we are NOT handy) and it looks like a much more expensive piece of furniture than it is. My only concern is how the finish will wear... It's only been a couple of weeks and the finish is looking a bit spotted. NO wood, damaged, cheap materials AP My husband and I opened the box expecting a wooden table, as promised, only to find a cheap looking laminate that was damaged! There is a crack in the panel top sheet, the laminate is starting peel in places, and there are indicators of the depth of the bottom. All hardware is plastic and the overall feeling of the table is that it is cheap. Table legs are plastic and feel like I could snap at any time - really can not pull the table until you move. The plastic insert that covers your feet (to prevent damage to the floor) do not meet two of the feet! I really do not know what to do now ... the table is heavy and would be a terrible hassle to send it back. The only good thing I can say is that the design is fantastic and the color of the film is enjoyable. The mother, with storage - perfect. If only this picture would come in wood, as advertised, and without damage, I could not admit to the equipment and just replace the brushed nickel or stainless steel are not sure, do not know your feet and where to go from here. .. 4 of 4 people found this review helpful. looks good, but ... I believe that the package can be a bit "better, but fortunately the only damage was to the window and not the tables. They need to pull together, but it is a piece of cake. You need two people on the bottom shelf of the table especially if your a female. The only thing is that it is wrong to attack the legs with the table, if you're not careful you put more the 4 legs on a table in a coffee table that's why I think some people say the final table sizes. They are not, they just packed the type of leg fun. Be careful before assembly and make sure the short legs on the table, or it will be too high. I think the quality is good and is very robust for what I paid for it. It is a good overall size, too. Yes, it is not marble, but you get no real marbles for $ 230 and that's what I paid for sale with free shipping, it is a great accent for not a lot of money. By Chankour The table itself is quality made, very sturdy and very easy to assemble (about 15mn without looking at the instructions). The only problem was packaging. The bottom shelf was packed inside the box, with the 'good' side (i.e top) right against the cardboard (i.e facing to the outside). The box had a barely noticeable dent in it when I received it, but it went right to the top of this shelf (about 1/2" long, 1/16" deep dimple). I love how they look, and overall they are of good quality for the price. My husband had to get used to do to get the load to slip in and out well, but now works great and I love them. They are small, but with drawer and shelf, you can save a lot on this mode. PROS: looks good. Good quality for the price. Cons: The color is darker than the picture shows. Based on the pictures and comments, I decided to order this product. Product arrived within a week. Installation was really easy and took about 30 minutes. It connects to four high, with large bolts (two bolts for each leg). A key to the low cost is included in the package, but I recommend you use a series of Ratchet. It would take about 5 minutes to fix each of the eight screws if I used the key. Instead, it took about 10 minutes in total, all with ratchet 8 is the finished product is very nice and is a great piece in my front door and back up. So I have no control if we ever tried to get a replacement, it would show that damage. We gave up. was it looked like a nice table would be.
